Abstract

Introduction: Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome consists of a sensory neuropathy of the trigeminal nerve associated with the paralysis of one or more ocular motor nerves, secondary to an idiopathic granulomatous inflammation of the cavernous sinus, the superior orbital fissure or the orbit. Clinical case: 19-year-old patient with Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome accompanied by peripheral facial paralysis, with enhancement of the facial nerve. Conclusions: Compromise of trigeminal nerve branches and facial nerve is a rare finding. Imaging studies contribute to the characterization of the etiology. Steroid treatment continues to be effective.
